FACILITIES
Hager Biosciences is located in the Ben Franklin TechVentures© facility on the mountaintop campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
The Ben Franklin TechVentures facility was renovated in 2007 and provides state-of-the-art laboratory and office space, technology-enabled meeting and conference facilities and on-site business support services. Hager Biosciences currently occupies several full size wet labs with standard instrumentations and equipment necessary to undertake modern discovery chemistry projects. In addition, access to Lehigh University and its Chemistry Department facilities, arranged through Ben Franklin TechVenture liaison program makes the University resources available for Hager Biosciences. Therefore, for instance, high end instrumentation such as a 500MHz NMR is within walking distance.
Our laboratories are equipped for modern medicinal chemistry and focused library synthesis. We possess all the necessary and standard equipment, glassware and lab set up to carry out a wide range of organic transformations including air and moisture sensitive reactions. Hence, we could also provide multi-gram quantities of selected analogs for in vivo animal pharmacology and toxicological studies.
Some of the standard laboratory instrumentation & equipment we have includes:
-
Multiple Combi Flash Companion ISCO Purification Systems
-
Modern Instrumentation to carry out state-of-the art syntheses
-
Evaporation Systems (Rotary and Others)
- Emrys Robotic Microwave Synthesizer
- Agilent Analytical & Prep HPLC
-
Agilent LCMS
Lab Expansion: We have full support from Ben Franklin TechVentures to expand our laboratory footprint as required. In addition, there is a shared common laboratory available for short term demand-based need.
